There was a definite lack of housekeeping, as my room wasn't serviced for the entirety of my six-night stay.

Charming decor, cozy outdoor patio, great Portuguese ambiance. felt like a secret garden. I loved the unique Goan tiles and the vibe!

The decor was amusing, albeit overwhelmed by the horrendous smell of paint. I mean, seriously? two single beds shoved together? Definitely not what I signed up for! I expected a spa or at least a warm welcome, but got nothing. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't. A total letdown!

Suraj’s cooking filled the air with mouth-watering aromas, making it a prime suggestion for future dining right at the hotel. The room's luxurious vibe, although it required some minor adjustments, still offered a comfortable enough stay for what was expected.

The room was in need of some TLC. the walls had noticeable marks and the bed felt under-equipped with only a small pillow each. The pool, advertised as a 'pool,' resembled more of a spa tub and lacked the feel of a proper swimming spot. Keeping the coffee machine in the foyer frequently switched off was a little disappointing, and a kettle in the room would have greatly improved convenience.

Great air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, but laundry was a bit slow.

The room was charming and spacious, but cleanliness was an issue. I found bed bugs and dirty linens that were not promptly addressed. Limited common areas made socializing difficult, and breakfast options were quite basic with low-quality ingredients. Despite these drawbacks, the hospitality from the staff was warm and welcoming, which somewhat compensated for the overall experience.

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Panaji. We had a lovely time exploring the picturesque cafes nearby and visiting the lively 18th June Road. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home throughout our stay, particularly accommodating to our family's needs.

My kids wished there was a wider choice of breakfast options.

Mateus Boutique exudes charm with its beautiful restoration of a 1879 Portuguese mansion. The location in the heart of Fontainhas offers a delightful ambiance of colorful architecture. Complimentary breakfast was simple yet satisfying, and the attentive staff made for a welcoming stay, especially Marisa, who provided excellent recommendations for local dining.

This was a reliable pick for a lightning trip in Panaji with good value. The staff were quite friendly and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable during my stay. Bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise from the breakfast area.

My stay was lovely, with a charming decor and a fantastic vibe. The cold showers were a bit surprising, but the overall experience made it worthwhile. I'd definitely return!
